Fantastic! I am in love with this book! I got this book through the publisher and immediately started reading it. This book blends everything I love into one world, and it’s perfect. We’ve got the Great Library of Alexandra, and it has never been burned. It rules the world. The world has future tech in a most historical setting, and there are small instances of alchemy and steampunk. It’s lovely, well written and engrossing. I will say it started slow, but it grew and grew until all I could think about was the characters, what was going to happen, and when that plot twist happened, I cried. I cried for everything that could’ve been had they known. I cried for all the people who died. This book is fraught with peril, but so well done
