The Red Sun Rises: Fire and Ash

I’m super excited today to be able to show you all the cover for newest book Victoria Kinnard’s outstanding The Red Sun Rises trilogy! 🙂 I was instantly grabbed by the first book in the series (You can check out my review here) and I have been a hanger-on ever since! Victoria has got an outstanding sense of detail and an unbelievable way with words so you don’t want to miss this next book…. you’ll have to scroll through this blog to see the cover and the giveaway at the end! Don’t miss it! 🙂

But before we show you the cover, check out Book 1!

“The Red Sun Rises” (Book 1)

“Eren Anderson is a freak among freaks. At 17 years old, he doesn’t fit in with his peers in the tiny town of All Hallows and despite being born into it, he most certainly doesn’t fit in among The Order of Our Mother, the secret nature worshipping society that has harnessed the ability cast spells and believes vampires are not only real, but their deadliest enemies. Eren is turned into a vampire after an attack by the local coven master, but that is the least of his worries…

In a post-Twilight world, “The Red Sun Rises” is a YA novel intended to give vampires their bite back but it should not be read as simply another vampire novel. “The Red Sun Rises” is a story about growing up, responsibility, falling in love, facing your fears and taking fate into your own hands.”

and now… some information about Book 2!

“The Red Sun Rises: Fire and Ash” (Book 2):

Eren Anderson thought he could leave his troubles in All Hallows. He was wrong. For teen vampire Eren, his boyfriend Corbijn and best friend Andy, Paris seemed like the perfect place to escape to but the City of Light has darkness in its heart. While Eren finds himself struggling to deal with the horror he witnessed in his home town and fighting to reign in his power to cast, a surprising new enemy makes moves to destroy the one thing Eren can’t live without – Corbijn. With The Order of Our Mother refusing to help save him, Eren, Corbijn, Andy and Order rebel Tamesis unlock a source of power which hasn’t been called on in over 100 years.

“The Red Sun Rises: Fire and Ash” is the second book in The Red Sun Rises Trilogy and the sequel to Victoria Kinnaird’s international bestselling debut “The Red Sun Rises”. Join Eren as he challenges The Order, accepts his fate and answers the terrifying question: how far would you go to save the man you love?

Casted has been released! This is an amazing day for Fantasy fans everywhere!! 🙂

“Jade had spent the majority of her life running from the Triad. The Triad, are a powerful group, who would stop at nothing to obtain Jade and the missing spell book for leader, Lorenzo’s, nefarious plans. And now that she has absorbed the highly coveted magic contained inside the missing book, there is nowhere left for her to hide.

With the help of her friends, Jade steps out from the shadows and learns how to fight back. But no one is prepared for Elinor-the woman bound inside of the book that’s trapped in Jade’s mind. Now she not only needs to protect herself from the Triad, but from what’s hiding inside her mind as well.

Jade never expected the answer to it all would revolve around love.

Edge is dark, mysterious, and a sworn member of the Triad. He also hides a secret past that threatens the thin line he walks between good and evil. Lives are at stake when Jade and Edge’s two worlds collide. Can Jade learn to trust him when he says he is her pre-ordained and vows to do everything he can to protect her? But more importantly, can she trust herself and the woman in her mind?”

It sounds beyond awesome! I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy!

About the Author

Sonya Loveday, first and foremost is a reader, an avid one. It is of that love that brought her to the realization that this was the answer to the nagging persistent feeling that ‘there’s got to be something more’.

The dream came alive in 2009 when she purchased her laptop and began the tedious step of becoming a published author.

When she’s not reading, she’s writing. When she’s not writing, she’s reading. And when she’s not doing either of those things she’s sleeping, shuttling her children back and forth to school, letting the dogs and cats in and out of the house for the umpteenth time in the last hour and dreaming of a clean house.

Losing Hope by Colleen Hooper!

So I was planning on doing a big review, but I wanted to focus on this amazing book.

Losing Hope is the second in the Hopeless series, following her first knockout book, Hopeless.

I’ve read both books in one week, that should tell you how incredibly addictive these books are! Dean Holder is one of the best characters I’ve read. He’s my latest book crush, handsome, caring, and with a rough past.

He met his match with Sky, and her heartbreaking past, that she doesn’t even remember. Sky is headstrong, caring, and intuitive.

I’m not going to spoil the plot for those of you who haven’t read Hopeless (and why haven’t you?! It was 99cents this weekend!)

Losing Hope covers events before Hopeless, and the events in Hopeless from Dean’s perspective intermixed with journal entries.

You need to read these books, fans of YA romance, adult romance, and basically all YA lit will love these books! They are raw and real and heartbreaking and uplifting! There’s no emotion left unshared in these books, and no heartstring left unpulled. You’ll be crying with Sky, laughing with Dean, and cheering for their love and the power of love.

Please check out Losing Hope, it releases on July 8th, so there’s time to preorder it and have it show up on your Kindle at midnight or have it in the mail to you!

Please don’t let this book pass you by.. I mean really, look at his face!

Pre-Order it here!
